efforts and energy can be s

EAST RUTHERFORD, N. Chris Peace .J. -- Odell Beckham Jr.s slamming of his helmet against the kicking net, the prancing up and down the sideline, the ranting and raving at nobody in particular -- its all a bit much for New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo.McAdoo said he wants to see his Pro Bowl wide receiver become less of a distraction so the teams efforts and energy can be singularly concentrated on winning football games.McAdoo twice had conversations on the sideline with Beckham during Sundays 29-27 loss to the Washington Redskins at MetLife Stadium. Beckham was matched against rival cornerback Josh Norman most of the afternoon in their first meeting since last years ugly confrontation.[Beckham] needs to control his emotions better and become less of a distraction to himself and to his teammates, McAdoo said Monday on a conference call with reporters. Its our job to help him with that process and maturing.Beckham has been fined five times in less than three seasons, and he received a suspension for his actions last year against Norman. McAdoo said its on him, his coaches and Beckhams teammates to help focus Beckhams emotions in the proper direction. It takes a village, McAdoo said. It takes time.Beckham had 7 catches on 11 targets for 121 yards on Sunday. He almost appeared to be in tears after the contest.Beckham is an admittedly emotional player. He recently compared himself to NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook. He said his intensity is part of what makes him one of the NFLs top wide receivers.Have you ever watched Russell Westbrook play basketball? He plays with a lot of emotion or passion, whatever you want to call it, Beckham said last week. Its whats best for some players and whats not best for some players. You use it and just be smart. Play smart. Its football at the end of the day.It can become a distraction. McAdoo and quarterback Eli Manning each spent part of this past Sunday tending to Beckham on the sideline. That time could have perhaps been better utilized looking at pictures, discussing past and future plays or anything game-related aside from cooling down their top offensive weapon.Beckham stormed off the field Sunday after a fourth-quarter interception and slammed his helmet against the kicking net. In a karmic twist, it snapped back and slammed into the side of his face. Beckham had a scratch on his face after the game. He said he didnt remember how it happened.?Beckham was also seen yelling and stomping along the sideline throughout the contest.McAdoo said hes dealt with similar emotional players in the past. The teams hes been a part of have been able to corral those emotions. The same way. Communication. Having a variety of different people, coaches, staff members to communicate with, McAdoo said. Just help him direct his focus.Beckham didnt see a problem with his emotions on Sunday. He didnt think they were out of character.Same as they always are, he said. Same as they always are. Jason Spriggs . President of baseball operations Larry Beinfest was fired Friday after 12 years with the Marlins. The move came as the team neared the end of its third consecutive last-place season in the NL East. Neil Halleck https://www.cheapnfljerseyschina.co/anthony-simmons-jersey-for-sale/ . Robredo, ranked No. 16, bounced back from an upset loss to Leonardo Mayer in the second round of the Royal Guard Open in Chile last week to down Carreno Busta in 1 hour, 25 minutes. On a day filled mostly with qualifying matches, fifth-seeded Marcel Granollers of Spain also entered the second with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 win over Aljaz Bedene of Slovenia, while Guido Pella of Argentina defeated Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 7-6 (6), 6-4 to advance. Williams will announce its 2017 driver pairing on November 3 (next Thursday), with Canadian F3 driver Lance Stroll expected to join Valtteri Bottas at the team. The announcement will close off another two places on next years grid, with Stroll becoming the first rookie to be confirmed for 2017.Stroll, Williams current development driver, has been strongly linked to the team since Felipe Massa announced his retirement at the Italian Grand Prix, but title sponsor Martini wanted to wait for him to turn 18 years old before making an announcement. Stroll comes to the team off the bacck of title success in F3 this season and has completed a series of tests in a two-year-old Williams to prepare himself for the step up to F1. Colton Schmidt. Bottas will be retained after Williams decided to take up its option on his services for 2017. The Finn had been linked to a Renault drive, but by remaining at Williams will rack up his fifth consecutive season at the same team. The announcement will take place at the teams headquarters in Grove, UK.
